Greg A. Cole accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age, and was
biblically baptized a few years later. He joined the Bible
Baptist Church as a teenager, in 1995. God
used the ministry of this church to challenge him in his relationship with Christ.
At sixteen years of age he publicly surrendered
to God's call into the Gospel ministry.
Pastor Cole earned both a Bachelor of Divinity and Bachelor of
Religious Education Degree from the Massillon Baptist College, in
Massillon, Ohio; he graduated as valedictorian in both graduating
classes. He has also received a Master of Religious Education
Degree, and a Doctor of Pastoral Counseling Degree from
Andersonville Theological Seminary, in Camilla, Georgia, receiving
the honor of Summa Cum Laude for both degrees.
In 2003, Pastor Cole answered God's call to become the Assistant
Pastor of the Chichester Baptist Church, in Upper Chichester,
Pennsylvania. In the ten years that he spent in that ministry,
working together with his faithful wife, Kelly-Jo, he established a
thriving bus ministry, developed an active children's ministry, and
led numerous souls to Christ.
In 2013, Dr. Cole was invited to return to the Bible Baptist Church
to serve in the capacity of Associate Pastor. In 2016, in response to God's call, the church voted to invite Brother Cole to assume the leadership of the church as pastor. His desire is to work together
with his family and the church to glorify Christ and expand the
church's evangelistic outreach in the community.
Mrs. Kelly-Jo Cole, Church Secretary
Kelly-Jo Cole, the wife of
Pastor Greg Cole, currently serves as the
church secretary for the Bible Baptist Church. She
accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age, and later
surrendered her life to do the will of God.
She is a graduate of the Massillon Baptist College, in
Massillon, Ohio, with a degree in Religious Education, where she
graduated with honors.
Kelly-Jo has faithfully supported and encouraged her husband
since their marriage in 2003, and has been a caring and
nurturing mother to her two children, Caleb and Lydia.
She is a skilled musician with a beautiful voice and the ability
to play the piano, organ, flute, and piccolo. Her sweet
disposition and tender compassion for those in need have enabled
her to be a help to many people through the years. She is
very adept at caring for the day-to-day office administration
needs at the church.
